As part of the Franklinton Elementary School administrative team I am responsible for resolving school-based problems/conflicts in a fair and democratic manner. I address discipline issues and always provide opportunities for students and teachers to have a voice in decisions. I address teachers concerns quickly and share final conflict resolution decisions. At beginning of the school year, during our FES Open House, I informed parents of the availability of our student/parent handbook online at our school website. This document provided parents and students a quick overview of students expectations and consequences for disruptive behaviors. Hard copies of the handbook were provided to families without internet access. As part of my duties as Bus Coordinator I provided bus drivers with updated information on any changes which affected their positions and provided safety training for all bus drivers.
